If you've landed here, you're probably trying to understand why your body isn't responding the way it used to...and whether I might actually be able to help.
Over time, I started noticing a pattern with the women I was talking to.
The women who find me aren't beginners. They are usually the opposite.
They're capable, high-achieving, and used to figuring things out. Many have demanding careers and families they care deeply about.
They've been exercising. Watching what they eat. Doing what had worked for them before.
But their body isn’t responding anymore.
Some have struggled with weight since they were teenagers.
Some saw things change after pregnancies and never quite recovered.
Others felt fine for decades and then, somewhere in midlife - often around perimenopause - everything shifted.
And what bothers them most isn’t just the weight or the fatigue...it's that it doesn't make sense.
Many times, they tell me, “I’m not doing anything that different.”
When you don’t understand why something is happening and can't explain why what you've always done isn't working, you eventually start assuming it must be you.
Your willpower.
Your discipline.
Your consistency.
I understood that immediately.
Because I’d lived it myself.

Before the COVID pandemic, my work pants didn’t fit.
I'd been covering them with long tops and hoping no one noticed. I’d just come off a four-month break from exercise because of a back injury, spent weekends traveling with my daughters for their sports, and watched my husband spend weeks out of state caring for his mother after a heart attack.
Life had been a lot.
I kept everything moving and, like a lot of women, put myself, and my health, last without really noticing I was doing it.
But the truth is, this wasn’t new.
I'd been fighting my weight since I was a teenager. Diet after diet, program after program, starting over more times than I can count. Weight Watchers. Calorie counting. Some things worked for a while. Nothing lasted.
By the time the COVID hit, I had spent almost 30 years in a cycle of trying to control my body and still didn’t understand why it behave the way it did.
When it became clear that "lockdown" was going to last longer than two weeks, I made a decision:
I was going to come out of the "lockdown" better than when it started.
My health was going to be the priority...not an afterthought. And this time, something had to be different.
I didn’t want to just lose weight again. I wanted to stop repeating the same cycle.
What changed wasn’t a better plan or more discipline.
It was how I was looking at the problem.

Once I started asking why my body was responding the way it was, instead of trying to force it into submission, things actually began to change.
My energy improved.
My relationship with food changed.
And, for the first time, the results didn’t disappear a few months later.
I felt like myself again...actually a better version of myself than I'd ever been.
And, I was able to show my three daughters that it's never too late to change, and that taking care of yourself isn't selfish. It's essential.

Around the same time, I'd spent several year navigating my youngest daughter’s chronic health challenges. I watched appointment after appointment provide partial answers or quick fixes. I learned to ask better questions and refused to accept “we don’t know” when something clearly wasn’t right.
That experience changed how I think about health entirely.
Sometimes the surface explanation isn’t the real one.
Sometimes you have to look at hormones, gut health, stress patterns, and how the body's systems interact - not just symptoms in isolation.

It’s why I pursued functional health, hormone, and gut health education. And it's why I never hand a client a protocol on day one.

Before coaching, I practiced law for 20 years in BigLaw.
Working in that environment taught me something I didn't expect: I genuinely believed that I didn't matter outside of work and being a mom. Taking care of myself sat at the very bottom of the list for almost two decades.
But what I brought out of law was how to think.
How to investigate.
How to gather evidence and look for patterns.
A how to refuse to accept easy answers.
Most programs start with a protocol. I start with understanding.
I look at your symptoms, history, habits, sleep, stress, hormones, and your patterns together - because they influence each other.
That's the approach.

Everything I've learned - personally and professionally - shaped what became the StrongHer Life Method.
A stronger body. A stronger mindset. A stronger sense of self. And a stronger life, across all of it.
It's built on one core belief: most women aren't failing because they lack discipline. They're reacting — to fatigue, to stress, to weight changes, and to years of conflicting advice.
Instead of handing you rules to follow, we slow things down enough to understand what your body is actually communicating — and then build responses that support it rather than fight it. We work on physiology and mindset together, because what's happening in your body affects how you think, and how you think affects what you do next.
That shift — from reacting on autopilot to making conscious choices — is what I call From Default to Choice. It's the through-line of everything we do together.
🧭 Investigate — understand what's actually driving your symptoms and patterns
🏗 Build — develop the habits, fuel, and strength that support your body in real life
➡️ Choose — shift your identity and patterns so you don't need to keep starting over

I work primarily with high-achieving professional women in their 40s and 50s who are navigating perimenopause and midlife.
They’re capable and successful in almost every area of life — except this one feels stuck.
They’re tired of guessing and tired of starting over. What they want isn’t another plan. They want clarity about what’s actually happening so they can move forward with confidence.
I recognize them quickly because I’ve been there too.
